System Administration

WELD is an adaptation of JACL to integrate servlet scripting.  Besides the initial setup, there will be the need to rehost WELD as the performance needs of it's applications vary.  Functionality should be equivalent whether hosted on a PC or a mainframe, as long as platform-specific connectivity issues are addressed.

This section explains the operational characteristics of each of the components of WELD, to reduce the guesswork that is an unavoidable part of any migration effort.
